Educational Alpaca Tour

We are a working alpaca farm, during our educational alpaca tour, you will spend approximately 2 hrs. learning all about alpacas. This is a hands-on, mostly walking, personal experience that allows you to interact with the alpacas. During the tour you will learn how to care for an alpaca, their origin, uses for their fur and quirky personalities. At the end of your tour you'll be able to shop our store, enjoy the playgrounds, hangout at Camp Squirrel or picnic under the pavilion. Kids under 3 years of age are free, please DO NOT add them to the number of participants during check out to ensure they do get charged. What to expect?. You can expect to have a lot of fun with our alpacas. Our alpacas are generally friendly, however, we let them decide how and when to interact with guests. We will provide some grain for you to hand feed them. We employ working livestock guardian dogs to take care of our alpacas, so please leave your pets at home. Please wear appropriate clothing according to the season, even though we have covered areas and barns, mostly you will be outside, closed toed shoes are recommended. If you don't see a time that is convenient, give us a call and we will try to accommodate you.
